DIBB TO NEYRAK PULLU: Again one of the magnificent days on the Chadar trek and body don’t feel that much of cold . today I had one aim i.e anyhow to reach neyrak village so I can’t walk in last to help other in my group so told one of the guide to be in last .. but totally scared to look at the condition of the chadar .. in first half hour I find myself in trouble as there is no way uphill or through the chadar I could cross the point … then after looking for around 2 minutes made a trail in my mind and jumped over a cliff of around 6 -7 feet in sand and decided to carry on without my trek leader and guide as till now I can judge properly the condition of Chadar and it was more dangerous as I was the first person to lead the trek for the day from any group along me was my friend Raman from Shimla . we decide not to stop and take decision wisely on chadar trail. However, the caution being that this can become a difficult if the Chadar is not very firm but what if there is no chadar .. JUST IMAGINE { WATCH THE VIDEO LINK ABOVE FOR TRUTH} . The vistas are stunning though as we pass through giant frozen waterfalls, ice cliffs and one may even catch sight of the mountain fox. Nyerak village is located high above and you can only see a few small huts from neyrak basecamp

which is not neyrak village . Beyond the bridge that links Nyerak village small huts mark the summer grazing shelters of the villagers the neyrak village is 2 km above the grazing shelters and actually the all trek leaders tell group these shelters as neyrak village which is not.

What I have came to know from villagers that among 6000 people there are hardly 50-100 people which goes to village because most importantly group leader do not confirm the groups about actual location of village as it is very very tough to walk from tibb to neyrak village and back to base camp with the group and secondly in a single day it requires a lot of strength

I made new group with small kids as what they need is just smile and what they offer u back is much more priceless smiles . I purchased a lot of toffees and chocolates for that moment … not even a single child which come in sight left without having a toffee or chocolate. DIL KHOL KE SMILE MILE

if somehow I would not have come here I would have really missed the best part of the trek .it was almost 7 PM when I was back to neyrak village bridge our Both bags were intact , No one have taken anything from bags and luckily one of the porters from our camp was waiting for us to come back at bridge and then we came to know we have to go back to bottom of hill for the camp… if he would not have been there we would have been in big trouble finding our camp after such long exhaustive day with no energy at all ,
